Hey everyone, Mrs. Dude and I were browsing Walmart today and came across a new brand offering in the bakery aisle.
We usually get Duncan Hines white cake batter for our slime, which has a phenomenal texture, but which requires unboxing, opening and dumping 5-6 bags per bucket before mixing and adding food coloring. It takes us over an hour just to prep, and while we've gotten good at incorporating wam prep into our foreplay, sometimes I just wanna hop in the tub on a moment's notice and have at it.
Alma's comes in 15 oz bags and is already colored, plus it's only $1.47/bag. Not bad. With my drill paddle, I could easily have one bucket mixed in 5-7 minutes with no effort.
They sell buttercream frosting too, which looks like it could be cut and aerated with heavy cream for one gooey pie per container.
Probably not a big deal for most of you, but for those of us parents that struggle to find time, this is a Godsend.

I have simple taste, so the batter is perfect as-is. I add warm water only to 5 bags of dry mix. I use a slightly larger bucket than what I need in case I overfill the water and need to add a sixth bag, but otherwise, 5 bags per bucket is how we roll.
You can imagine just cutting out the unboxing and coloring is going to save us about 2/3 of our usual prep time. I'm excited as hell to buy this stuff by the case.
As long as it's not cheap Funfetti quality mix. Fingers crossed that it's close enough to Duncan Hines - that stuff is unbeatable as far as I'm concerned.
