The difference between pornography and polygamy is,,,,the latter can be explicity defined, while the former is a subjective matter and no one has ever been able to come up with a legal definition of what it is. Pornography is in the eye of the beholder. Even the Supreme Court could not define it , as per Justice Potter in 1964 who famously said

Opinions are wide-ranging....some say porn is any media depicting sexual activity,,,,while others say it is any media that has no artistic value other than being used for viewers to sexually gratify themselves. Examples of those 2 definitions therefore range from direct porn on Pornhub to indirect porn on Youtube.....and there are hundreds of millions more people watching indirect porn on Youtube and using those videos for pleasuring themselves than those who use more direct porn on Pornhub.

But it's good to know that the Mormon church in that article says that porn is a public health crisis for children....while they go easy on arranged marriages and child brides.

BTW.....what is the difference between The Boy Scouts Organization of America and The Catholic Church when it comes to abuse of children. Well, since the BSA is a 501 c 3 exempt Federally Chartered Corporation, it doesn't have much choice. The entity known as "The Catholic Church" on the other hand does not answer to the federal government (or any government), only diocese subdivisions in America do (in a manner similar to limited liability corporations). If certain members of "The Catholic Church" are found breaking the laws of a certain country, state, etc. they are simply "excommunicated" and tried as individuals. All this really means is that their assets are frozen as "The Catholic Church" is synonymous with "The Vatican Bank" aka Istituto per le Opere di Religione.

Yes, that's right The Vatican along with being the last true Monarchy (theocracy technically) under the pope (which can decide which of Italy's laws it wants to obey or not obey), is also a private bank whose assets are owned by ??? All info I can find says the Holy See does not actually "own" the funds. But it is completely overseen by the Vatican and really has had no other outside regulatory group overseeing let alone auditing it until 2012 (and that was with the Holy See's permission).

Wamtec, on the abuse topic it has been interesting watching the mormons distance themselves from the BSA once more cases started being filed. They want to keep their billions.
