I've been taking muddy, messy, qs, wet, photos for many years now and thought it was time to get a little more active around here. I have access to thousands of images that I took mostly for Mud Puddle Visuals but some for others or myself. You can be sure that if I post it then I shot it. I hope to update and rearrange often. I really covet feedback of any form so don't be shy.
Wow - this is like Picasso, Rembrandt, Monet or DaVinci asking for feedback on their work... Gorgeous girls, amazing lighting, crystal clear images - often with attention to depth of field to really blur the background and highlight the subject. How can you say anything but, "More ?!? Yes, Please!!"
Thank you, friends. I appreciate the kind responses. The photography is pretty basic but the subject matter works very well.
I love doing it and it's nice to have an audience that understands what it's all about. Been playing with photography most of my life but didn't know it was okay to get girls muddy in front of the camera until I met Dave at MPV and Rob Blaine at Messyfun over 20 years ago. Others followed and it sort of took off from there.
Here's something very recent with Nyssa Nevers in the shower at Camp MPV. You might notice the ball and chain in the background. It followed her everywhere she went.
Brownie said: I've been a big fan of yours for years, keep it up! What's your #1 favourite messy shoot of all time?
Thanks, glad you like what you see.
My favorite? I'd never be able to narrow it down to a single instance. I guess the single best shooting expedition we ever had was the "Great Desert Lake Houseboat Mud Party" or whatever called it. Dave is a serious boat guy and rented a big houseboat for all of us to search for mud on Lake Meade outside Las Vegas. We were out there for three days with Gummi, Kym Jane, Victoria, and Jessica Marsh. Aside from some minor boat chores all I had to do was take pictures. Normally there's a lot more chores than that at any shoot so this was just fun. Renting a van and getting the ladies from the airport to the boat dock and back was all I had to deal with. We had a lot of fun so I'll neve forget a minute of that one.
