A few years back I dipped my foot in the mirrorless world and reengaged with Fujifilm for the first time in many moons. I started with the x-e1 and that sparked a shift in how I worked. For a while I shot with it alongside my Canon 5D MK III. Later I got my hands on an x-e2 and the quality improvement was enough that I decided I could use it as my primary since I used a 3D Sony for video at the time. I sold my 5D III and went full time Fuji. My x-e2 was stolen and I grabbed an X-T1 which while a bit of an upgrade left me missing the rangefinder style of shooting. Finally the x-pro2 dropped and once again revolutionized my shooting style. I watched lots of Fuji fans grab the x-t2 for the video quality but I held off. Recently the X-T3 dropped and I couldn't hold off any longer. It's improved intelligent AF and insane 4K quality were too much to ignore. As it happens, because of the promotion I got in August I'm able to take advantage of my company's arrangement with Fuji that gets us 30-40% off cameras lenses and accessories! Soooo there will definitely be a jump in video quality coming from MessyHot. I'll still keep shooting stills on my xpro2 as it'll be much more handy to have 2 bodies so I won't have to switch back and forth between still an video and swap lenses as often.
