I've been researching vacation destinations for the past several days and I'm curious if anyone has ever planned a vacation around getting muddy or messy. If you have, I'm curious to hear what your planning process was, where you went (if you want to share) and anything else that could be helpful. I've seen the quicksand map which is giving me a few ideas, but I'm still brainstorming

When I'd head north to visit family, I'd often plan some time on the way there or back to stop in and revisit places I played at when I lived there. Some were muddy, but more were waterfalls, streams, or My Ocean.

Usually it was more on the subtle side due to traveling with family, but once in a while... not so much!
