I'm looking for areas in Iowa with lots of mud to play in I only have found one spot and it's not particularly great if anyone knows where any mud is please let me know

There are a number of quarries in Iowa that can be found on Google satellite view that appear to have mud.

are there any quarry's with mud within 30 miles of Des Moines

To get that close you'd likely be looking at lakes, rivers, streams, etc. These are usually way more numerous and accessible than quarries.

The headwaters of Saylorville Lake look particularly interesting. Though again, google maps with satellite layer turned on will be your friend for aerial recon!

I'll continue looking I don't know how to apply filters
