Hi all, I want to create a mud pool for myself and I am here asking what kind of clay to use preferably as cheap as possible for as much as possible I am located in the Netherlands but definitely willing to get it from international sellers. See picture attached for the pool it is only meant for 1 person. And pottery clay as an example here is also a link to a download from Lyndra Lynn she is amazing and I would definitely love clay like that: https://lyndra-lynns-messy-german-store.umd.net/download_info/muddy-boots-masturbation
When we filled the Dunk Tank with clay we used Bentonite powder. It's the most cost effective river way of doing it and is not too difficult to do. It does absorb water as the hours / days go on so best to start runnier.
We looked at many options to heat both clay and Gunge over the years and never found an easy way to do it. If you mix the bentonite with hot water it will stay warm for longer than you think but eventually it will be room temperature which is quite cold to play in.

Fred at Studio 588 has the most excellent Benonite setup of anyone in the world that I know of. It is outdoors but he keeps it warm well into the fall by circulating hot water from a small heater through plumbing. It's fundamentally simple but uses the ability of bentonite to retain heat. Once it's brought up to temperature it's relatively easy to maintain.
