Now that is spring I am starting to plan all the fun things I want to do in the mud once it actually starts to get warm here. I wanted to wear one of my latex outfits in the mud last year but ended up getting too busy with customs to do it.
Bur anyway my question to people who have done this before, does natural mud (not clay) damage latex? I have some expensive custom pieces that I don't want to risk damaging but also some less expensive outfits. Are there any precautions to take or do you just hope for the best and jump in? I am going to try to clear away sticks and anything else that could cause rips but I was wondering if the mud itself causes any problems.
(bellow is a pic of my green dress I was thinking would look good covered in dark thick mud)
You should be fine, we have used latex in Mud shoots many times. Be careful of rips just in case there are twigs in the Mud. Treat your latex well after the shoot. Wash with soap and water, use a nail brush to get the Mud out of buckles and creases, then treat with a latex polish and lay it out flat. This process works with latex too LOL

I am hoping to get a custom made latex catsuit soon but my current shooting budget is very tight and I want to hopefully hire more models this summer to get muddy too.
