Has anyone seen this? this is a film set in the post-apocalyptic future and in one scene this Haley Lu Richardson is in a pit of tar or sticky oil substance and emerges fully covered and really shows disgust.
Nice find. She says the oil was made from Canola oil, black Tempera paint and Hersey’s chocolate syrup. She also mentions she spent days shooting scenes while covered in mud and oil, so even some behind-the-scenes hunting could pay off.
Odd that there were two indie films released so close together with the same title and similar looking scenes; we know exactly what we're looking for, why do they have to complicate everything for us ! :-S
Yeah I hate when filmmakers do that. Atleast this way we know for sure which film is the right one, and we can start keeping our eye peeled for more info around the web.
Of an interesting note, a lot of horror sites are covering the film. I don't know what that tells you, but maybe she'll be covered with fake blood like the end of the film ala the Evil Dead remake... you know if you're into that sort of thing.
Shooting was very cold from what I'd read and underneath her clothing she had a thin scuba suit of some sort. In the other trailers, she's wearing raggity jeans, she's probably wearing that. No idea if she was wearing white socks.
