Big fan of mainstream WAM having grown up on it. Found some old mud scenes that were new to me and I hope some are new to you.

This first one is more funny than sexy, but we could all use a good laugh, eh? A lady gets splashed by "mud" in the movie "Pick-up Summer" 1980 (aka "Pinball Summer"). You can find the whole flick on YouTube as "Pick up Summer ou pinball summer 1980" starting at the 5 minute mark, but I edited it down to the main scenes with mess and posted it on my smesstube . Those first drive-by splats by those "Damn kids" crack me up, lol.

There are a few more semi-worthy worthy scenes I found but didn't want to clog the Vid Archive with. Still, some may like them and you can find them on YouTube by copy-and-pasting the titles in quotes:
1) "The Pom Pom Girls (1976) - Robert Carradine" starting at 25:44, Tug-o-war over a mudpit. The mud is pretty watery and although there are no kids I can't guarantee everyone is of age.
2) "Safari 3000 (1982) - Full Movie" starting at 43 minutes, Stockard Channing in mudplay with David Carradine. Would be great if the rain didn't keep washing off the mud.
3) "bigvalley.mpg" Muddy scene from "The Big Valley" TV show. Nice dress coverage but low quality and violent context.
4) "Last of the Mobile Hot Shots - Feature Clip" starting at 1:45, Lynn Redgrave in light mud volleyball. It's pretty lame but old school fans may like. Alternate movie title "Blood Kin" from 1970.

I also looked for scenes requested here in the Forums. In https://umd.net/forums/famous_lost_mainstream_mud_sce a scene from the 1968-70 TV series "Here Come the Brides" was sought. I could not find the massive mud fight desired, but I ran across an "okay" scene where a lady falls into a mud puddle wearing a dress.

I can confirm with certainly that there was definitely not any mass mudfight scene on the 1969 tv series "Here Come the Brides" with females involved...and the only female mud scene that exists is the one already found, where Mitzi Hoag falls in a mud puddle. I too scanned the entire tv series DVD boxed set as well as checking all the episodes when they aired on ME TV channel, and there is no mass mud fight with females in that series. The info Regis had that came from a report made by Bjo Trimble who reported seeing a mass mud fight scene on the set on that show....methinks she was probably talking about an all male mudfight scene that happened, cos as I recall there was a mud fight with all the guys...but no females were involved, so I skipped it. So I think we can put that item to bed,

As for other lost mud items Regis reported on, the Sheriff Lobo mud scene (as well as the BJ Bear mud scene) are definitely lost as far as the original mastertapes are concerned....so there will never be an official dvd release of those 2 series...because all the mastertapes for both of those series were destroyed during the fire at Universals Studios in 2008 that destroyed thousands of mastertapes when their archival building burned to the ground....

Rob Blaine sent me a tv recording of that Sherif Lobo mud wrestling episode from a 1980's recording, but the video quality was very poor, and now that the mastertapes are gone the best version I have been able to find recently was from a private collector who recorded that episode from WOR cable TV channel in New York in 1996, and unless ME TV have a copy of the show, the 1996 tv recording is probably the best version we can see.

As for the long lost 3 girl mud fight from the 1963 tv series "Harry's Girls", Regis was able to contact the grandson of one of the actors in that episode, who not only had that episode (the pilot show) in his attic, but also had the first unaired pilot featuring 3 different girls repeating the same mud fight...but they could not use that first pilot due to a union strike in the UK where it was filmed, so they had to re-shoot it again with a different cast in the South of France instead. Thanks to Regis for acquiring these 2 long lost episodes. I will be posting the full 2 x 30 minute episodes on my Megastore site later this week, asking for a $5 donation to download them to help us with the costs of acquiring these 2 episodes from the estate of the actor who owned this footage and ceded it to us.

I figured HERE COME THE BRIDES was too good to be true.

My next project is buying all the damned DAKTARI DVDS, now that Warner Archive has finished releasing the show, and rounding up whatever mud scenes are in that (there's at least one, maybe more?). Unless somebody else wants to volunteer!

Incidentally, most of the scenes above were familiar to me, but that Chixploitation channel had one minor (but nice) little mudfight scene that I didn't know about (from PASION DE AMOR):

Which was helpfully not keyworded with "mud" or any translation thereof. So I guess now I need to go through all of that guy's catfight videos ... and also more of the many, many telenovela catfight comps that are on Youtube, because I think there are one or two that were reported here but never found, and maybe some that are totally unknown.

And as far as I know, Jerry Springer is still doing occasional messy wrestling that never go online, and that no one in the wam community is capturing (or at least sharing). Unless you're on that, MK?

Regarding the "Daktari" series, I too have been awaiting for an official DVD release of that series in order to replace the old tv copies of scenes I had on my old cliptapes. FYI, according to my records, and those included all the mud tv scenes Rob Blaine sent to me....

The only known mud scene from that series is where Cheryl Miller gets muddy washing an elephant...which I have on an old cliptape somewhere...I recorded it in my records as

So it is similar to the Elsa Martinelli scene in the John Wayne film "Hatari"....so I am pretty sure there are no deep mud scenes in that tv series...and the reason I am looking for that series is that I have 2 other wetlook jeans scenes from that series that I would like to get a better copy of.

As has been noted in previous (older) threads regarding this scene with Kathleen Turner and Steve Martin...the gir who gets thrown into the mud is not Ms. Turner, but a stunt double, with Kathleen's voice dubbed over at the end of the scene (note that they cut to a rear view of the actress during the mud throw, after starting with a frontal shot of Ms. Turner).

I have the full uncut version of the entire Sheriff Lobo mudwrestling episode as well as the 2 pilots for the 1963 series Harry's Girls not seen in over 50 years (courtesy of Regis) that feature 2 different casts of 3 girls doing the mud fight scenes. See the caps from my server here...
