Now in my days of producing at the Messyworld towers, my job was to come up with a game or two.
During the "COVID" shoots we needed a one player game with an easy outcome. Cue "9 Lives", a simple guessing game, which if you are smart, you could win quite easily. Now in my pre match pint with the artist not yet known as Sploshmuffin, stated that she had seen the game and wanted a go.
Whether it was the Cornish cider talking or her bratty demeanour, I agreed.
Cue to the tank the following day and after her first gunging (KS001), initial nerves had gone.
Previous attempts had seen an unsuccessful trend befall the girls who had taken on the game.
So imagine our shock and horror when young Meg, managed to guess the number on her 8th attempt, in a somewhat freakish 1 in 16 chance!!
Her delight was palpable and my off camera disbelief was showing!
Cue a hastily conceptualized bonus round, where justice in gungey format was restored! See it here http://liquidx.tv/downloads/ks009
I like these no bullshit straight up gunge tank scenes. Don't get me wrong, theatricality is fine, but it's good to remember that at its essence, this is all we need.
