We wanted to get feedback on if you guys like the before and after videos we have done? Do you like to see a constant before clean imagery of the model on the left as she gets destroyed in all kinds of mess on the right? We can expand this to savory, mud, paint in addition to pies and slime. What do you think?
And I thought you were asking about like interviews before shoots and watching the cleanup lol which I like watching the clean up and love the before interviews with new models...
But - The before and after time sum, shouldn't be longer than the mess. Let's say - for 5 minutes of before + 5 minutes of after, at least 10 minutes of actual mess (ideally, more).
I'd hate to download a 15 minutes video, get to the mess at 05:00 and and get to the clean up at 11:00.
I'm not particularly a fan of this concept, nor do I actively dislike it though.
That said, like many producers here, you have some gorgeous models and I'm often into the models as much as I am the mess so sometimes its a shame to see such a pretty girl hidden under a ton of mess (I'm not a facial coverage fan but that's a different issue) and I would love to see more time at the beginning of the clips before the model starts to get messy, and/or some of the clean up after the shoot.
I love this idea - I don't have either of the videos shown but it's something that I wouldn't mind seeing more of. Sometimes I will try to simulate this effect and either have a screenshot or pic of the clean model open along with the video but to have it right in the video I think would definitely be cool!
I definitely like a short "clean before" sequence in a video, but that's not the question here.
As for the split screen "clean beside messy" idea I am uncertain as to whether I would find it distracting or not. In looking at the two sample pics in this post, I think I would find it distracting.
Perhaps if the clean side was not as wide it would be less distracting. Assuming the normal 1280 x 720 wide screen video format, perhaps having the messy side 960 pixels wide x 720 high (the old 4:3 ratio) and the clean side 320 pixels wide x 720 high would be better.
I would definitely NOT want a split screen to reduce the size of the messy side. I don't think the split screen idea would work in scenes (or parts of scenes) where the messy model is lying down.
These are some of my favorites! Seeing the juxtaposition between the pristine model and the absolute destruction turns me on so much. Like others have said, you have some of the prettiest models out their and seeing them take the mess side by side is so hot!
While discussing 'before and after', I kind of like to see scenes where the model is suddenly and totally made messy. 99.999% of every scene I've watched has the girl getting gradually messier and messier, and this makes sense and is enjoyable to watch. But there is also the pristine, perfectly clean girl in a bikini who is instantly and totally messed. I love that, but it is next to impossible to find. She might fall into a mud pit, or get hit all over with 30 or so pies, but this type of scene is very hard to find. It does, however, provide a serious 'before and after' that takes place in a very short amount of time. I'd love to see scenes like that.
Yes absolutely, that is an amazing idea that you have done & that I think you should definitely keep doing as as a standard going forward. Could you please add with a all the ladies / models that you use a before clean and dry video & on that they are watered please
