A model who wants to model anonymous should cater their content to those who have a fetish for body parts (Feet, armpits, butt, etc.). Lots of closeups, lots of angles, probably more emphasis on sound. I don't have a body part fetish so I can't speak to the specifics, but I think your path is right there. Personally I'm of the no face/no buy camp, but one customer's opinion isn't as important as what you can do for those who don't care. Good luck!
As someone who likes to see full head coverage there needs to be a face in it. I don't mind the odd mask but that adds a whole new fetish in the mix I guess. I noticed Brooke Maddison always tends to have a subtle mask on or sunglasses as to not totally reveal her identity (well until the mess takes over) and this I don't find too much of an intrusion on the scene. But the ultimate would be a full head, full face, full coverage.
I quite like tge face being messy at the beginning, I love tge idea of using the technique employed on TV or films for when someone is naked , where they walk through the scene, and a strategically placed bottle, or condiment blurs just tge furry bits, or a woman facing away from the camera, being called or tapped on tge shoulder so they turn round, and a big pie blocks tgehe face from the camera, before it is ashed into it, with a deecent piie and crust it will disguise the face enough, and if they are wearing amazing underwear or topless/nude, nobody will be looking at the face anyway
I suppose we take it to the next level! Just posted the the final part of our last gunge session a few hours ago. This is aimed for the people who like to mix gear and gunge. You won't be able to please every one, as peoples fetishes have so many wave lengths and what we think is acceptable will be defined by someone else who has their own fetish as weird!!!!!which I always found quite funny.
The personal feed back I get is that it is easier for the viewer to imagine it's them being gunged
Not a fan nor will I ever be. I'm definitely of the no face/no purchase camp. I just always feel omitting the full appearance of the model is a half measure. Close ups are fine but a wide shot is mandatory
Since being anonymous is extremely important to me all my content will always be head down, will that result in fewer viewers (or sales when I do finally get around to setting up my store) sure it will and I understand that. But being anonymous for me will always outweigh reduced potential sales and popularity by a very large margin and I'm also doing this as a casual hobby instead of a serious source of income.
That being said I'm ok with models wanting to hide their face or shoot from the neck down, they might still have content that pushes all the right buttons for me and head coverage/mess isn't one of those buttons. If they decide to do that great, if not then I'm not bothered in the slightest.
For am amateur who is NOT publishing and charging to see the WAM, an anonymous face is fine. In fact i enjoy seeing viewers wives who are messy and head covered with mess to start is fine.
HOWEVER, IMHO, if someone is expecting to be paid for a c=video, thewy should be upfront and be prepared to show their face.
I certainly would NOT pay for a WAM video if the women did not start clean and fully visible.
I like to see a women go from smartly dressed to totally messed and so, seeing her clean face to start, is important to me..
I've shot commercial scenes with Violet Vixen, who always wears a lacy mask (and wore a full-on catwoman one for one of the scenes), but those masks still show most of face. Plus she has an absolutely stunning figure and is happy to have main focus on bum/legs/crotch getting messy which to some extent compensates for less visible face. One of those scenes (in PVC in the mud with Maude) got me Top Download, so clearly viable.
I've never shot an actual faceless scene, I don't think that would work in a commercial scene, because seeing at least part of someone's reactions is a big part of it for most viewers. The mess may be happening elsewhere on their body but seeing that look of shock, or gasp of joy, as the gloop fills their boots or underwear or trousers, is still an important part of it.
If a model prefers to go anonymous, I would prefer they use a mask. Part of the appeal to me is being able to see some semblance of emotional response. At least with a mask, you are still able to see the smile, or the excitement in their eyes (depending on mask type). I'm not opposed to having their face out of frame or blurred out, but I think a mask makes it easier to stay anonymous without having to frame the video weird or obscure other things.
Yep and some of these responses is why some wammers will never venture into opening a store because they know they won't make much with a totally hidden face. They also don't want to risk their videos being seen by friends, families, or coworkers especially if there may be major negative implications to their careers or whatnot (like teachers getting fired for doing such videos) so doing something totally faceless gives them a sense of safety from that especially if those people are not familiar what their bodies look like.
Those are my main reasons for being totally faceless because even a mask isn't enough of an assurance that I won't be recognized by people who I DON'T want to see my stuff.
Thanks everyone for the amazing responses and poll answers.
I personally feel the face is very important to the mess experience and for me, its absence strips away all excitement and enjoyment. It turns the video into something clinical, like those old BBC science videos we were shown at school where you never saw anyone's face - just hands pointing at test tubes, or fitting rubber tubes to gas taps.
That said, I do respect the need for anonymity and I don't actually mind the use of say, eye masks, because this reveals a lot of the face.
For me, the face is the window to the soul - the expression of the model when getting messy (before, during and after) is really important. I love to see that excitement and enjoyment or occasional whimpering etc. Its a real shame when that gets consealed.
I'm dead against facial blurring / censoring / pixelation - I find this creates a really sinister atmosphere and completely spoils the mood of the video.

For me, even a mask won't cut it. We're doing wrestling and what wrestling is supposed to do beyond all other things is tell a story. Can that happen with employing a mask? Sure! Just look at many of the luchadors in the south, but we're typically talking skilled 2nd and 3rd generation pro wrestlers who already have years behind them and not wrestling/fetish models. Until that status quo changes, facial expressions are a critical part of that storytelling for our fans.
I guess I'm in the tiny minority where i don't pay much attention to the face to begin with, I even skip over portions of videos that focus in the head.
If I'm paying to watch I expect to see a face, but if it's home made for their own enjoyment and posted free for us to watch I can understand them hiding their face, and I'm quite happy about that.
I voted "no purchase" but I will make exceptions. Some of Beantown's recent photosets do turn me on, but in general, a pretty face is very important to me. I've seen wetlook where the body was fabulous but the face was ugly.
That said, with my pie fetish, after a hit or two, the face isn't that important!
The face - and particularly the eyes - are extremely important to me. It's not just about bodies.
I would say I'm 90% no face no sale. The kind of WAM I'm into - which is about women looking their best, getting dressed up before being totalled with relentless goo really doesn't work incognito. Reveal upon purchase is okay - but no face in previews (the lovely Maxi Aristos worked this way). I've made some exceptions but my interest in those models has been short lived if this doesn't change as their career progresses.
I'd never sell anything without a clean faced intro. It's the main reason I don't sell my relationship stuff anymore. Some people are happy to share if they're not too clearly identified - but this is not good enough for sale in my opinion.
Making money or incognito. You can't generally expect to have it both ways.
When i wam I don't like to get my head and hair messy, I remember there is a female model here who is the same way. She's perfectly fine until stuff lands on her face and then she wants to immediately towel it off.
Personally, I'm not attracted to bodies, I'm attracted to people. I 100% respect models who want to keep their anonymity, but it's very difficult for me to enjoy scenes where I can't connect the person getting messy to a real human being.
I think a good example of balancing the two is Violet Vixen. She wears a mask in all of her scenes, but it's relatively small, enough to give her plausible deniability, but not so anonymizing that she stops looking human. She still exposes her eyes and her mouth, which are probably the most important features for being able to read a model and indulge in their visceral reactions to getting messy. In fairness though, she has a perfect figure, so it's possible that her curves make me judge the mask less harshly than I would otherwise.
For me (Clive) I really like to see how someone looks before the mess and this includes face. This means that if I don't see a face beforehand then I'm not really into it.
However.
I totally understand why someone would want to mess and post about it online anonymously, not showing their face. If they do then it's totally up to them and I wouldn't encourage them to show their face. I'd just move on and think it's just not for me.
