I was watching School of Good & Evil on Netflix (don't ask) when the girl students in the two schools start screaming at each other. Its in the dining hall and the there are pastries on the tables. Oh boy!
Not one cake or pie thrown, no mess at all.
(Sorry about the bad screen grabs. Netflix defeats them. I had to take phone pictures off the TV. And since this was such a disappointment I didn't try too hard.)

That purple dress- friggin' missed opportunity of the century.
Granted I can also see why; those kind of costumes are almost impossible to clean after doing any kind of mess- even the splatter from throwing a single pie could ruin the dress to the point where it'll show in subsequent scenes.
