They should add pies to the Miss Universe Pageant. Each time a contestant is eliminated, she should get a pie thrown in her face. The ultimate winner should get to put a pie in the face of the "first runner up."

This would have made for an interesting situation last night when the wrong contestant was crowned at first! Miss Philippines could have been pied and then would have returned and the show would have ended with Miss Columbia getting a pie in the face.

I think it would make the pageant much more entertaining!

Seriously though, a number of years ago, they had a watermelon eating contest with all the Miss Universe contestants! :devil:

It was shown during the telecast, but was taped before the show. It was part of their "backgrounds of the contestants" portion. All of the contestants were there with their hands behind their backs, digging into the watermelons with their faces, which is not a "neat' undertaking!

No real mess, of course, but it was neat to watch. There was one contestant who refused to use her face to eat it, and sat there using a fork! :ohbruther:

Based on last night, Steve Harvey would've simply hit himself with all the pies in the above scenario.

Steve Harvey would've put shaving cream on a plate and called it a pie!

I did think as I watched the news coverage of the Steve Harvey screwup that it would make a good WAM video skit: Winner is announced. winner is told she has not won and another contestent is the real winner, and former winner pick up a pie from the dessert table (why is there always a dessert table nearby?) and SPLAT!!!

Rich could definitely remake this with a bunch of pies and himself as Steve Harvey, Breana as Miss Columbia, and, uh, bit of a reach, but let's go with it, Brin as Miss Philippines.

Forget Rich (no offense), but if this is fantasy casting, let's put Carrie in the role of Stephanie Harvey... uh, Stevia Harvey? What would be the feminine of Steve? Look, just add more girls.
