I'm thinking of posting a video of myself and wanted to do metallic paint - but what is everyone using? Mehron and water? is there anything rubbing safe?

Mehron and an oil of your choice. I like olive oil, others use vegetable. Just don't use corn oil, or you'll smell like popcorn for days. Speaking from experience there, The important thing is to just use enough oil to completely dissolve the powder, or the mix won't be opaque.

Olive oil works well, basically what utsumi99 said, another thing is that you tend to get more powder in the silver bottle than the gold bottle. I think a mistake with most beginners is not using enough powder and the mixture being too thin.

I second what everyone else said. Make sure you use enough powder for maximum effect.
