As most of you know, we released our first Messygirl Comics issue on our Messygirl.com site. Our second issue is being worked on now. We thought it would be a good time to ask our members, who have seen the first issue, what you thought? Did you enjoy it? Not your cup of tea? Looking forward to the next issue? Let us know.
Also, we are thinking of publishing them into a high gloss comic book format. Would this be of interest to anyone?
By the way, enclosed is a pencil drawing from a page of the next issue "Amy at the Carnival"

Thanks! We will be releasing issues once a month. We seen the other upcoming storylines and they are fantastic! You won't be disappointed.
Personally I'd love to have the comic books in a hard copy format. The artwork is great and it's always nice to have an actual book to flick through when reading a comic. If it's not cost effective to print one each month, then why not consider an annual, with all the releases from that year in one compendium, like a WAM graphic novel? It'd be a graphic graphic novel... Ba-boom ting! Haha

Since each digital issue is about 6 to 8 pages long, we will be able to take about four of those issues and make them into a 24 or 26 page hard copy issue. We are looking into that now.

If you can ship the book to South Korea, you have yourself a buyer.

We will make it a point to ship them anywhere around the world.
Messygirl, I must admit I never imagined I'd like "comic-book WAM" as much as I actually turned out to (although actual WAM videos are obviously better still) - I guess it has something to do with the fact it is based on your models rather than completely fictional creations. Just a random thought - would you consider putting each month's "issue" on your website as a *.PDF download? I'm guessing that you could do it for almost nothing cost-wise, but it has the benefit to members that they can download the whole issue in a single file, rather than 6-8 images which have to be saved separately, and it's then in a format that allows it to be easily downloaded to iPads etc for viewing. Also if you bundled together a few issues you could presumably then justify selling them as a download in your download store, which might appeal to those who can't receive things as easily by post or don't fancy paying international shipping?

Yes, we thought it would be fun to use our Messygirls in the issues. Our next issue will feature Vicky. We can also go way back to our early days and use Lexi and Sara. So the possibilities are endless.
We will work with Messmaster on setting up the PDF download. We kind of sprung our comic book idea on him last minute, but I'm sure once he has the time, he will make the adjustments.
We plan to build up enough episodes so that we can offer issue downloads. We also are looking at doing a printed comic book.
The production values on the comic are really high. I love the look of them. Personally, I don't like full nudity in WAM and seeing it in a comic format is somehow even more jarring. But each to their own. For me, everything else about the comic is one of the best innovations from a WAM producer that I've seen in a long time.
