Using food makes things easy - lots of tinned foods, bottles etc provide variety. If mess is a reward, choose things you like. If it's a punishment, choose things you don't.
Games need to be simple enough, or they can get too gunged up to continue playing. Simple things like card guessing games (higher/lower) or simple card games like Snap work (you can decide if winner gets rewarded or loser gets punished). Competitive dice rolling can be fun (roll 1d6 each) - you can also number items from 2-12, and the loser (or winner) gets gunked with the item corresponding to the sum of the dice rolls.

I like the ideas, or would be fun playing massy-roulette too.
Me and my girlfriend go for a walk, and on the way back we flip a coin, loser gets custard in their wellies for the walk home (normally about 15 mins). Good fun and love the chance element as much as the mess
