Just been scrolling the Internet. I found a story of a former 39 year old model, who was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, called pseudomyxoma peritonei.
After a tumour was found in her appendix in 2023, she started planning her own funeral.
But she underwent the 'mother of all surgeries' which involved removing 8 of her organs, and one year later (November 2024), she has been told she's now cancer free.
That is truly amazing, and brought a tear to my eye.
But why have I put it on here?
Well, since getting the all clear and returning to work, she decided to fundraise for cancer research, by getting 15 litres of orange gunge poured over her.
