So I'm in London for a week or so for work and am off this Monday, Tuesday. Free in the daytime for mess but cannot accom, anyone about? My other plan is to head and find some mud somewhere, probably heading towards Essex and the Thames estuary. Anyone know any good locations?

Try Barling, near Southend. Brilliant tidal mud....but check the tidal times first.
