Does anyone know how to warm up marshmallows so they get really sticky without them being too hot to touch? I usually end up waiting for them to cool off first, but then they lose their stickiness. Please help.

Pour several bags in bowl, microwave for about 3 minutes, mix with a big spoon and check the temp. The secret is stirring them well so the insanely hot parts mix with the barely-melted parts.

Just buy Marshmallow Fluff instead. If you aren't familiar with it, its basically gooey marshmallow creme that comes in a jar.

Real marshmallow is way better than fluff! Just make sure to wait long enough for it to cool all the way through after melting. If the surface feels mildly warm, the rest should be pleasantly hot! You might also want to try mixing in melted gummy bears.
