"Meeting MessyGirl"
Love you, too
This past week I was in Houston, job-hunting....trust me it's a long story. When I was planning to come to Houston, I made sure I contacted Mr. MG and Leah!
We traded messages and we settled on meeting at a local Tex-Mex restaurant. I arrived and they were already there waiting on me. We introduced ourselves and sat and talked for a long time. I was hoping to meet one of the models, but I missed meeting Amy by two days. I really enjoyed our conversations about their work and the models. They are a great couple and very down to earth and easy to talk to! If you ever get a chance to go to Houston, you have to meet them!!

Yeah, I didn't know when I get that chance again...I'm glad I was able to meet them!

I've met MrMG twice as well as Lane. MrMG is quite the guy. I can see how so many girls love working with him. I still haven't met Leah but I'm sure that'll happen eventually. I feel kind of bad that my first encounter with MrMG and Lane was in a pretty shaky looking hotel. At least you didn't meet them in a bakery, 
I've been in Houston quite frequently of late and I never even considered asking to meet up with MG/MrMG... It seems kinda weird to me, I guess.
Of course, I've met other producers (namedropping time: Lenny, muddoug, LaylaMoore) so maybe it's not that weird afterall.

Mr MG and I had a very enjoyable time with Chuck. We talked shop, and gave him some inside info on some of his favorite Messygirls. Next time we hope to have him meet a few.

Rob Blaine (RIP) and I would sometimes talk on the phone. (This was the pre-net days!) I considered going down to Texas to meet him, and perhaps do a custom with one of his models. Alas, I never did it.

But in any case, whether you film anything or not, thank you for filling us in on some of the really decent people producing work for everyone -- and probably not because it is making them rich.
