I am determined to make marshmallow pies work. I love the gooey, sticky, even runny effect. But my one attempt was unsuccessful. Let's hear your suggestions! A successful recipe will be featured in one of my videos. Your recipe will coat my face (and body? I havent seen that one!) in a tagged vid!
I love marshmallow fluff pies! I usually use cake batter with some fluff mixed in for the main part of the pie and then top it with marshmallow fluff (kinda like how you'd do with whip cream)- that way the marshmallow fluff sticks to your face when it's slammed in and there's still some sploshing from the cake batter
I like putting marshmallows in the microwave 20 seconds at a time, until they're sticky, then putting them on a warm custard soaked sponge base like a regular pie.
When you put cream on the top the fats make it stringy and only a little bit sticky, more soft and stretchy and really nice to play with, very tactile.
I like playing with ratios of cake frosting and marshmallow fluff.. its soooo awesome hehehe.. my favorite so far is one container of frosting to one container of fluff and mix em up good..
