Hello, does anyone have any experience making pies with marshmallow fluff? Do they work well? Do you add anything else? Any special preparation instructions? I would be highly appreciative of any advice. Thanks!

I have made them before. I like them. They stick very well. I don't add anything to them except on occasion I will buy a can of blueberry pie filling and put it on top or on the crust.

We have done a mix of about one part marshmallow fluff to 2 parts of whipped topping (generic Cool Whip). Makes the resulting cream pie a bit thicker and stickier

Washes right off with warm water.

I've done several. You definitely need to add something to soften it up, or it will be too thick to splatter or anything. It washes off very well, despite the stickiness, and it doesn't have the rancid/spoiled milk smell afterward like whipped cream.

Absolutely love them, but beware, they're INCREDIBLY sticky! Definitely heed the advice of everyone on this thread and mix it with cool whip. MSDoublePlay and I had some fun with marshmallow fluff, I dared him to put it down his pants while we were at a restaurant and he sat for half the meal like that. After he got back to his hotel and pulled his underwear off, he basically waxed himself! That shit is really fucking strong! HOWEVER, it is so fun to use for pies! I used one for one of my Friday Pie Day Live shows (pictured below) and I almost had a panic attack because as soon as I shoved it in my face, it was so sticky it wouldn't clear from my mouth or nose or eyes. I was immediately in need of air and I was blind so I had to rip a hole for the mouth ASAP. I was a bit shocked by how thick it was, but my god, it was fabulous! It wouldn't wipe off, and I was so completely covered by it! 10 out of 10 would totally recommend My only caution is that if you're using straight fluff for a more hardcore experience, you shouldn't let it sit for too long on you and be very careful with your hair or you'll wax yourself with it. Or just mix it with cool whip for a more relaxed experience.

Fluff is fun but be forewarned. It will glue your eyes shut. I recently covered my whole head in fluff and a lot of it and could not see the rest of the session. Added an element of bondage but I was shocked at first before accepting it. Made it more fun honestly

+1 to this. Simply fold marsjmallow into cool whip a tablespoon at a time until the mixture is really, really sticky but still creamy -- and not so stiff as to cause suffocation (seriously). If you use straight marshmallow, which is insanely sticky and insanely fun, be at the ready with a spoon or a soft spatula to clear mouth and nose if necessary.

It will dissolve in a warm or hot shower, but be patient if you have been wearing it for a while.

I also agree -- it's amazing! Once you're pied with a good fluff/cool-whip mixture, you are m***********g pied! It is not coming off, and you're a pied face (and everywhere else) for the evening.

The mixture we (me + WAM friend) created was heavy on the marshmallow, and it was incredible as to the results (see Creamy's pics, and imagine that face until the showers - it's that good!).

For what it's worth, the other mixture we played with was homemade meringue, into which was mixed marshmallow. So: egg whites, some warm karo syrup, a little guar gum, and marshmallow. Not baked of course; also epic, and also insanely sticky! Also fabulous if you don't mind the prep (we role played through the prep, which made the anticipation that much more intense).
