So im been browsing through my magazine hoard, putting them in order and title, a fun exercise. Anyway while having a look through some of the (be boring if I didn't), I found some WAM style sets in Escort magazine. To us Wammer they maybe a bit sparse, but i guess you have to remember that at the time, there was not much wam content around.
Pics include some beans, treacle, mud and water.
There is also some The Picture magazine, this was an Australian publication, a bit like Zoo and Nuts in the UK, however they did full nude rather than just topless. From time to time some of our models appeared (Amy Green, Holly Gibbons and Charley Atwell i remember), they also did a special Sploshing issue.
I hope you enjoy, I'll continue my cataloging and may come across some more (not literally).

Agree. This era of top shelf glamour has a typical editorial direction towards the most general appeal.
The theme of the shoot is strictly 'novelty', the real focus being unwaveringly on the body and how it exposes the 'explicit' areas (their readers are normal, red blooded blokes who want to see a pretty face and nice a bit of fanny, after all, not weirdos, right?)
In the 'glamour' form (like pinup) the face/head is conventionally sacrosanct or distinct from the body - or even entirely disassociated or juxtaposed in the frame with whatever kind of erotica or debauchery is going on down below.
Moreover, I suppose, the WAM aspect does absolutely nothing for the average bloke (aside from accentuating body parts!) so obliterating that complexion or crushing that beautifully voluminous hair under sticky slop is a step over the line into lunacy - and slapstick comedy. Silly.
