A clerk and a suspect at a Mobil gas station on East Washington Avenue hurled a package of sticky buns back and forth at each other across the counter after the clerk accused the suspect of stealing snacks early Tuesday morning, Madison police reported.
I think what bothers me the most about this is this quote at the end of the story.
"Burks was arrested on tentative charges of disorderly conduct, resisting/obstructing, felony bail jumping and four warrants."
So, if this asshole decided to NOT be an asshole and try and steal snacks, there's a good chance cops would have never found her for all the other illegal shit she's apparently wanted for. FOUR warrants!? How the fuck are you walking around with FOUR warrants out for yoru arrest, AND jumping bail!?
