I have a new interactive story similar to https://umd.net/stories/interactive-escape-from-the-mud-zombies and I'm looking for prereaders/betatesters. If you'd be willing to play through the story and inform me of any logic errors/missing text/plot holes, please send me a direct message here at UMD.
Here's the synopsis:
My Sister Prepared an Adventure (an interactive story)
You wake up, blindfolded and tied up, in an unfamiliar room after a birthday celebration. You quickly realize that the room, and indeed the house and the garden, have all been laden with messy traps and that you will need to overcome several challenges to escape. But you don't mind. After all, this is a dream come true.
Sample section:
You open the white door. Immediately an attached string releases a bucket of slime overhead and the green slime falls on your hair. You gasp. Just like the water on the chest, it seems to have just come out of a freezer. Your body suit protects you but your face and neck are covered in the slime.
You clear it from your eyes and see the white door opened into a small kitchen. There's a bucket of dirty water on the floor and a note next to it; there's also a fridge, a freezer and a box of utensils.
> Examine the bucket of dirty water. > Open the freezer. > Open the fridge. > Return to the living room.
