I am having someone get messy but they are nervous about cleanup. Are there any cheap options for substances that can also safely be disposed of down the shower drain with no fear of clogging or other similar issues? I was thinking different condiments but wasn't sure if the thickness of some like ketchup might get stuck in the drain. Thanks in advance for any input!
Non-chunky condiments should flow away easily though be aware the vinegar content may be overwhelming in a confined space - if the person is new to getting messy, then using things like custard (which will also flow away easily) might be easier on them?
The trick to cleaning up after a WAM session is to use A LOT of water, to dilute the substances and flush the pipes. Something I've come to realise is that most people's idea of a lot is way less than mine - I'm talking about leaving both the hot and cold bath taps running flat out for 20 minutes or more afterwards - the equivelant of four or five full baths of water as a minimum. If you don't want to waste hot water turn the power off to the boiler so the water flows through but stays cold - though you'll want the hot working to wash down the person getting messy at first.
But basically, stick to smoth, non-chunky substances, and flush away with huge quantities of water - you don't just want it gone down the drain in the bath or shower, but also flushed right out of the house pipework and into the main sewer where there's plenty of space, so no chance of things congealing and causing a blockage.
Shaving cream is a good option for newbies if the substance can be outside of the food realm - and cheap. Easy cleanup in the shower and virtually zero risk of clogged drains.
I've used 8-10 cans in a tub plenty of times, cost around $20 and just takes a little while for the water to break it down.
My favorite substance is yogurt. It is cool and gooey, but dissolves easy when you go to clean up and it washes right down the drain as cloudy water. I've also never had a problem with it damaging clothes either. Dannon light and fit is my favorite for it's creaminess. I've soaked expensive(but washable) lolita dresses in it and and it rinses out fine with enough water. If you're wamming naked you'll probably have a bit of a shock factor from it being cold.
P.S. If you're going to use ketchup make sure you don't have any cuts or scratches... (It stings.)

"The solution to pollution is dilution" like dungeon master said, stick to smooth not chunky and water it down a lot. We try to have a couple of buckets of water on hand for afterwards to help with this.
