We are currently looking for a new developer to redesign a major wam website that is now out of date and needs a total makeover. The site is called Topwam.com and has been online for 18 years (previously it was called "TheWamBank"). The site has over 9000 clips, and this site was originally designed as a downloads site and is no longer compatible with today's trends which call for streaming media and mobile access etc.
We would like to upgrade this site into a state of the art streaming site which is more friendly to mobile users. Many of the oldest clips will be junked as they are low quality and we are planning to upload 6500 new high quality wam clips in streaming format that are stored on my external drives.
Our usual developer is unable to do this Topwam makeover project because he is very busy with other projects at this time, so we are looking to hire a new developer with an appreciation of the wam culture to take on this project.
If you have state of the art programming and design skills and think you can handle this massive project (the site will have over 5TB of media) then contact myself (MK Wamtec) or Flav (at Eurowam) for a chat. This is not a task for amateurs, so please send us your professional IT resume and examples of websites you have designed before.
