I've been interested by the world of gunge for a number of years now and have wanted to delve deeper and make a film on what I think is a fascinating fetish sub-culture.
I'd really love to learn more and think it could be a great subject for a short film - extremely visual, the tv show origins (is this correct?), the process and culture involved in the flourishing industry, and to be honest, the chance to talk to people who uninhibitedly do what they really enjoy. I also get the impression that it's quite a UK centric (or founded) scene - would that be a correct assumption?
Anyway, I'd love to learn more and so wanted to reach out to the community. At this stage I'd just love to make a connection with some of you and learn more about the scene.
At some point I'd love to take the project further and gain some insights into a studio, models, and fans - depending on dates we could use some great kit to do the project with a really cinematic approach. My ideal would be to do something like a cross-section of the gunge world and learn more about the industry and community.
