FYI I was talking with Kelli's agent last year... After going into "pie retirement" shortly after all her Ken shoots, she had apparently agreed to come back! I was ready to book her.... until the agent also confessed that:
1) she was doing it just for the money,
2) she really hates getting messy, and
3) she wanted WAY more money than she got years ago.
So... I passed. Props to the agent for being honest tho. Also, it's too bad Kelli was faking it the whole time, but damn if she doesn't do it well!

Seriously, having worked with all the models you have, what do you think the percentage of them actually enjoy the experience?
I would say it is less than 5%. Most of them, it is probably just a job.

I think the best-case scenario are the girls like Shelly (or Brin, or Toshia) who didn't mind it much at all... So it was "easy money" for them.
But would they have shot for free? NAAAAAAH.
The ones who seem really "into it"... and then absolutely refuse to shoot again... Those are the ones that leave ya scratching your head.

WOW!! That fact surprises me. You would never know that Kellie doesn't like getting messy. How about this girl Rich?? I love her! Her whole attitude about getting messy was great. All her goofy reactions are great!! I really enjoyed seeing her get messy!!

You kid, but I JUST had a model contact me... One of you guys "found" her on IG and shot her a PM. One of these "I love your work with SlapstickStuff and don't worry, I won't tell anyone" messages that some of you THINK is charming but really just creeps the girl out.
So yeah... She was freaked out... And I had to talk her down. And even though she wasn't shooting with me anymore (because of her new job), there was a chance it could change... Until this put the nail in THAT particular coffin.
