Vintage mud wrestling alert. Found this holy grail gem on YouTube finally. It's from a short lived sitcom, Ace Crawford that featured Leslie Easterbrook (Police Academy) mud wrestling in a nightclub with another woman. Had always heard about this scene but finally able to see it in all its glory. Leslie even tries to seduce Tim Conway still covered in mud.
What we need is someone to find the laserdiscs of Bob Gale's insane, mean, gross, terrible Mr. Payback - the failed birth of interactive cinema and get the full scene digitised where she gets covered in horrible slop whilst tied down (Look for a trailer on Youtube).
I don't think the original film negs will exist anymore but it's certainly the only good aspect of the PoS. (Also, wow, he really needed Robert Zemeckis to reign him in)

Every SINGLE F*CKING TIME, someone mentions Leslie Easterbrook, my first thought is "Mr. Payback" - Finding those Scenes has got to be a Holy Grail for sure.
I'd vaguely heard of it, but for some reason I recently looked it up, and then did a deep dive on articles and reviews about the system and the film.
Someone on YT has posted a short excerpt transferred from one of the actual laserdiscs you might have seen - it's a confusing jumble of stop and start moments, because of the way the routing system worked. Frustratingly I *have* a working laserdisc player here - if I only had the discs somehow, I could probably use it to digitise and totally reconstruct the full scene.
Maybe someone will ebay them someday...
(The film itself looks grotesque and unwatchable, but I would happily just grab what we needed!)

Much as I'd love this to be true (and would probably go to that for it!), ABORT.
That site is a bizarre rip-off place. They rip basic plot and time data from places about shows and films and basically say they have every TV show ever on DVD... but they don't. You'd be lucky to actually get discs for your money, but if you do, they won't be playable or will contain random garbage.
(To illustrate, the very first two products under UK Television right now are two series catagorically *not available* on official DVD)

Just want to add a small note - the episode names from that YT channel do not match their descriptions from Wiki and IMDb. So the mud wrestling episode is in fact episode 2, "Bull Bates" (not "Murder at Restful Hills") etc. Not that it matters much.
