completely baffling isnt it, still I suppose its lucky they 'found' it again, it will no doubt be found again in a few months time, the marketing strategy of this lot defies belief, we have had so many limited offers of late its ridculous
Thanks for the feedback guys, we understand the limited time thing can be a bit annoying to some but we only do these when we only have a limited time release contract with certain models, Lee is an example of this and another is Stephen Watts. The shows we have placed into the vault are because we no longer have the room on our servers so we have to cut them off we can't afford even more storage space at the moment as sales currently stand.
Our preorder model has enabled us to shoot. If we don't get enough interest in a shoot via the preorders they don't happen. We have lost money on shoots because the lack of sales after a shoot and many just watch the trailers or view the pictures without actually ordered anything while people who genuinely support us via these preorders get something exclusive. The re release of Danny's preorder shoot was a one off. If you don't understand then we don't blame you, it's simply a numbers game we are afraid, the cost of our shoots (we pay our models) are massive and we can only carry on with pay downloads.
We understand it can be frustrating and we do thank you for your feedback. We will try to limit the limited timed releases as much as we can going forward but we cannot change the contracts we signed with certain models and our preorder model is here to stay. Of course, a lot has changed since we started Splat! and things can always change in the future. We do like to hear your feedback as long as it is constructive. So thank you for your feedback and taking the time to send us your comments. They are much appreciated, we do everything we can to make sure you all enjoy our videos. We love what we do, and we want to love our stuff to!

It isn't an argument of whether or not the video is good... honestly, they're probably all good... it's a question of marketing and reputation... honestly Splat if it is what you say it is then please, spare the nonsense and just say that... it makes you look better anyways instead of baffling your fans... I AM a fan and I LOVE your work I'm just confused now more so than ever because at first I thought it was just some magic trick now I'm not really sure why you hide things like that... this community is so small its like we be family and that's tight shit... so I mean I guess I would've rather heard the truth than much else especially some left fielded inappropriate misguidance. I'll never not be a fan but just some suggestions and some input... especially since you have world wide clientele and you charge more than average for your videos maybe you can afford a larger server.

Be Careful What You WIsh For!
Why on earth would you make obscure contracts that are time limited? And if the contracts have expired then how come you're offering them from time to time?
You really can't afford £8/month for hosting that would give you lots more disk space and bandwidth? And that's just from looking at your current host, choosing UK based hosting is always going to be more expensive than on the continent or in the US. Could you not also have all the shows on your UMD store?

The problem of lots of people just looking at the teaser pics and trailer video is something that's faced by all producers. If you produce good work then it will sell. If you produce low budget crap then it won't sell.
You've made some brilliant shows, the full length shows are so much better value than the mini shows and are much better viewing as well.
The pre order system just shows how little confidence you have in your work and if you've not got confidence in your work then how can you expect your customers to have confidence?
