I had already planned to slap a year on my Muddy River and My River albums, but the plan was to create a new album for each next year...
And now the plan looks like I'll have to find (a) new river(s)...
I know I'll have ponds and lakes where I'm going, but I've mostly never wammed in them. I'll also have my ocean closeish (well, closer than it is here, despite being the Mid-Atlantic region!) so that opens up some new possibilities.
BUT
BUTT
ASS
Not only will I be further north and more likely to be out of the outdoor wam business longer due to colder weather but I'll have to figure out what the wamming is like up there, and where the good locations are.
But I'm going home (sort of) to New England. (Different state, but same difference! )
I've wammed in 3-4 of the New England states, but not this one!
Anyway...
Half of (one of?) the last small My River sets is up now, the other half will show up tomorrow... and it's already getting colder again, so I may or may not be able to get another small lunch time set in tomorrow or a longer one on Saturday!
There's a lot going to be happening and it sounds like a busy time coming up. Good luck with everything, Mina, and I'm sure all your fans here will want to see what places you find near to.your new home! Peter
It's kinda a weird combo of going home and overshooting it!
I always thought I'd end up back in my hometown and inheriting the house I grew up in... but that second hope was crushed when my parents sold that house and moved across town the year before I moved out of state (2 family houses rock for that; same house, different apartment, no rent - hard to beat)
And the first hope of going back to that town ended when the guy who bought the house I grew up in flipped the 2 family house into 2 condos, and sold each for more than twice what he bought the whole house for!
I don't know how anyone affords that area! It's nuts!
