Hi all. I'm a nature lover; always have been, which comes in handy as I can use my countryside roamings to hunt for good mud sites too. Just wondering if anyone's ever had any issues with large farm-type animals disturbing their fun. Take cows for instance. Maybe it's just me; from a distance they look the most placid, gentlest of creatures, slowly munching away, but at closer quarters they seem awfully large to me with great grinding molars and tonne weight hooves. Are my concerns of having me willy bitten off, sniffed up the bottom or, even worse; one of them run off with my pants entirely unfounded? The reason I'm asking is because I've found this amazing looking mud pit in the middle of a field occupied by three rather large horses. Should I risk it? Hopefully someone with experiance in these things can help me.
Wouldn't mess with horses. I'm sure that you've heard about trying to "break" horses and what they are capable of. Cows probably would be safe (probably not bulls), as they are pretty timid dumb animals (has anyone else noticed how we only seem to eat dumb animals - they say you are what you eat... I wonder how much about the modern world that explains:ohbruther.
Even with just cows, it is still a safer bet to just avoid animals you don't know much about.
