High Summer in Langstonedale, long hot days of blazing sunlight, what better way to relax than to just sit by the river, in a beautiful green dress, next to the old stone bridge, and enjoy the views down the valley? Well, apparently Maude and Felicity thought this idyllic situation would be much improved by lots of buckets of water from above, and proceeded to give Rosemary a total drenching from the bridge!
Of course after the initial shock Rosemary came to realise that buckets of water really do improve a long warm afternoon, and accepted her soggy fate. Once the two mischief-makers had run out of buckets, she waded into the river and went for a swim, still in her dress and posh Dunlop wellies.
