The shoes were chosen both to look good and go with the sporty outfit, and also for ease of walking on the uneven riverbed. They wet beautifully too.

Yoga pants, sockless shoes and water go together like peanut butter and jelly!

While I grew up eating peanut butter sandwiches for tea, I've never had it with jelly, but I assume this is regarded as a nice combination? Definitely agree about yoga pants, sockless trainers, and water being an awesome combination, as Lady Jennifer demonstrates beautifully here.
