I mentioned on here already my WAM short film was rejected by Hump Film Fest (which will be available for purchase on here at some point early 2025), but to focus on the positives- I was brave enough to reach out for a sponsorship & they were more than happy to provide me with some mixes for the film without making it a whole contractual ordeal or obligation. It was very much a kind and generous donation. They were also super helpful and quick to respond to all of the questions I had- even when I was up at 4 AM doing prep literally the day of my film shoot. They were also very open to hearing my feedback as a consumer & made some changes to their site based on such quickly after. I did also purchase some more slime mixes from them for future content. (On that note: I did tell them I was a little shocked at the coloring of what the brown mix turned into- luckily for what it was supposed to represent it was passable. I provided pic reference- I'm sure you can guess what me & my videographer thought it might look like after prepping the mix. .) When I was looking for gunge mix companies ages ago, I could only find UK providers so they're a god-send truly (even though I have friends who have provided me with recipes ranging from pudding to SFX level chemistry). I'd also like to thank Larz for pointing me in their direction. Cheers. Happy holiday season everyone. I honestly want to shoot a last minute X-Mas WAM scene tomorrow, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to given how much goes into the production & I will sadly be alone tomorrow. But that's ok! Definitely will be uses the mixes I got in the future regardless.
So thank you to the Splatter Emporium. Thank you Larz. And also big s/o to my videographer Gabby Manson who I'll be collabing with on more WAM content in the future & she shoots some of her own ideas as passion projects as well with other models. If anyone wants to check out her IG it's _gabbymanson_. IG keeps taking her accounts down because her content def pushes the edge of SFW & not-so-safe for IG, so I'd love it if y'all sent some love her way on her newest account!

No, just a copy/paste email. They didn't even address me by my name. "Dear Filmmaker." I did send them a follow up email to ask if they could share any notes from the judging process, but I'm too scared to open it. Dan's assistant Tracey can be kind of cold (at least that's how she reads to me over email and as someone who's heard her on Savage Lovecast), so I'm worried even if she just gave me some sort of unhelpful response I would feel worse. IDK.
