Also, while I still think this trailer rocks, no way in hell am I investing that much time in a free promo again. Those days were amazing while they lasted, but the community is a vastly different place now. For all of you who were emailing me about making "proper" trailers again.... Thanks, and I hope you enjoyed this one at least.

I think the trailer is great, but I would've preferred this type of trailer for a regular volume not a compilation. Tbh I can't speak for the rest of the community, but I don't know how many are into just cake hits. I know that's your thing, but I never really see anyone comment that they are that into it. Not that there's anything wrong with cake, but personally I don't think it has as much coverage.

Unfortunately in the current climate, I basically have to put out a brand-new volume every 2-3 weeks... and it takes days to get all the footage looking right, then rendered to all the different formats, and then I need to frame grab and edit the pics too. (And that's not counting editing, which comes later and takes another chunk of time.) So it's no longer feasible to make a brand-new trailer each time at bat.

Especially for a new model, I will TRY to put out some free footage, but honestly I don't have the time to do something like this... i.e. super complicated and synced to music. Usually it'll be some casual unscripted bits so people get a feel for her personality (plus a couple token hits).... That seems to work best and doesn't take too long.

ANYWAY.... The most successful trailers have always been these multi-year, multi-model ones. They take the longest to edit, but they have the most variety (20 girls vs. 1!) plus you can do a lot of quick cuts since you're not trying to "introduce" a new girl's personality. And while the single girl promos usually average between 5-15K views over time, the previous "Just The Cakes" promo is over 100K views! So I felt like there was SOME audience for this?....

But you're right, cakings are probably a niche within a niche. That said, most successful producers have "signature" bits to stand out from the daily flood of new material on here. (Like MG and her "force feedings" or Fuck Machine, for instance. I didn't think there was much market for that, but clearly I was wrong.)

Hmmm. Maybe you could have your models actually complain on camera about how I'm not going to buy their videos?

Also that red cake scene didn't sell at all! HA! I liked the look though, it was unique. I confess I didn't realize it was "rainbow cake" or whatever when I bought it, I usually stick with white/yellow.

Yeeees! Seriously, I love this! Thank you for your hard work Rich. I may be a minority (which is a damn shame), but I love any wam involving cakes and I think this rocks. In a perfect world it'd be called "Just the sits" and would have all your models sitting their naked derierres into each cake, but that's my thing and I know it's not yours. But thank you all the same.

In an unexpected-but-welcome turn of events, people seem to be gravitating towards the "Complete Cake Bundle," which is ALL SIX Cake comps for $49.99. Which is definitely gonna help me pay off some of the many many bills I've incurred this month....

Do you make your own cakes or add icing to store bought cakes? I can never find store bought cakes that are that nice and gooey.

I'll risk giving away the secret because I'd rather just see more good cake scenes....

The best option is to buy store-bought cakes. (And I've figured out the specific stores and brands and which ones work best, including colors that seem to work. Like, chocolate cake doesn't look good, regardless of frosting. White/yellow cakes are much better.) And then add icing yourself. A mini tub of buttercream will work, or you can buy the giant tubs at Wal-Mart to save money over time.

And I discovered that the cakes were gooey if they sat in my car as I was running errands after buying them... SO.... For a spell I used to put them BACK in my car to let the sun make them gooey. That was a lot of effort, though, and I decided the "Warm" function of your oven is a better option. But a lot of times the extra icing will make it gooey regardless.

Cakes are finicky though. They won't provide the same coverage each time out, even if you do 'em the same way. The thrill and the frustration of it. (So they're the opposite of shaving cream pies, which basically look exactly the same over and over.)
