if only Fantia had an english page... the translator options dont work very well, and ive heard horror stories of people signing up or thinking they have paid for something then being charged a monthly subscription. Bermuda AV have some crazily messy paint stuff i was looking to get but just not sure about the site
Regarding the language barrier, I have used the Fantia website to purchase several videos over the past year with no issues or unexpected charges. I use Chrome and the website is automatically translated to English. It has worked quite well with minimal difficulty.
I can't stand that kind of crap. I have had a few DRM clips from other stores in the past and NONE of them are playable now b/c the stores went under and I guess that revokes the DRM? None are wam clips mind you, but DRM that uses it's own special player or requires you to verify with the host before you can watch something you bought is such a nasty technology.
I think DRM forces inconvenience to legitimate consumers, so I don't use DRM option on my Xcream store. Customers can download and play my videos on any devices without using Xcream's custom media player.
On the one hand, I can understand that producers get an urge to adopt DRM because of terrible piracy problems.
Is Fantia similar to Patreon? Seems so, considering the language of "sign up here to support Fresh Cream Manager".
I dig the low-priced monthly subscription model, but it'll get outta hand quick if you're not paying attention.
I really, really hope he adds videos to that store soon. Preferably without pixelated clean faces, though I'm sure he's got some older model agreements to honor.

Either way, super excited.
Fantia has the option to sell subscriptions as well as "products" (downloadable videos, photosets, etc). Some creators do both, some only do subscriptions. I've purchased several of the downloads without issue without being subscribed. You can also become a fan of a page for free in some (or all?) cases.
The most recent video I got on Xcream was indeed a DRM file, which I also really dislike. It was from a store I hadn't bought from before. That is the first I've seen, however, and it seems to be up to each creator, unless something has recently changed. At any rate, it will indicate whether it is streaming only or downloadable on each video page.
Someone needs to reach out to the guy and tell him that videos is where it's all at. Photos are OKAY, but this is 2021, not 1991. People want to see vids now. I hope he doesn't decide that photos are selling well enough and close shop before ever offering vids?

He knows well how important videos are, and I hear he is preparing the release. But he is very busy at work, so I would suggest that we wait for release day patiently.
He has struggled to learn how to use video editing software, but now he says that he mastered it and is editing the second video. It may be released in the relatively near future.
