anyone used J-LUBE for messy experiences. Is seems the mostly be used for anal use like fisting etc but a small about with water makes a lot of thick lube.
From personal experience, we tried j-lube and methylcellulose, and they are slippery, but we lost the tactile sensation of feeling the friction of skin rubbing against each other. And when it coats the skin, we lost that sensation of warmth and friction of body-to-body contact. But we did have a good time trying to hold onto each other and just being like slimy worms doing the tango.
Most definitely have used! Would recommend! Most of what is said above is true... you do loose the sense of 'friction' but it's replaced by a sense of 'slippery'...so you just have to make your choices there.
A few tips:
- It's usually good to mix it up a day or so in advance to make sure it can fully hydrate and reach 'maximum slippery'. Though also best not to mix it too far in advance, as the bottle is actually 75% 'dispersing agent' (sugar), so you want to treat it sort of like a loaf of bread... mix only with clean / potable water, use relatively soon, don't leave the container out / open to air or store for long periods in warm locations - or it might go bad / get moldy.
- The main focus of jlube is 'slippery' not necessarily 'thick'. I did have an 'issue' one time where I mixed it fairly thick and the person I was with complained of 'itchy skin'. I did not terribly notice, but possibly she had more sensitive skin than I. Anyway, if you mix it 'thick', just know that the jlube polymer will want to pull water from somewhere - and that might have a drying effect on skin. This has never been a problem with a 'normal' thickness' lube.
- You'll obviously be wet and covered in slippery goo. So consider 'ambient temps'. Even a normal room temp might be 'chilly' when covered in wet goo. As a test, you can get out of the shower, don't dry off, and sit around for 5-10 minutes at temps you might use jlube. If that is comfortable you should be good to go. But for me, that's typically about 80F (27C) or higher... so warm/borderline steamy summer nights, a fairly warm room, etc.
One fun thing - as a 'going away' party for when it's time for a summer water change in the hot tub - has been to blow up an air mattress and float it on top of the hot tub. Invite your partner to jump on, apply a liberal dousing of j-lube and let the 'wrestling' begin. Periodically grab a pitcher of warm water out of the hot tub and pour it over each others body as a warm treat and to keep everything super slipper as needed.
Lastly, j-lube has remarkable 'staying power' even under repeated soakings with normal water. This is a blessing when using it or a curse when trying to clean up! I've heard that you can use salt water as a rinse which dehydrates the jlube and helps it rinse away better. Though I've never had any huge issues with just normal soap/body wash and a body scrub with a long shower.
Oh, one more thing - consider clean up, too. As mentioned, this stays slippery for quite a while, so the only 'real' clean will come with a nice, long shower. If you have a play area and think you might blot dry with a paper towel, then go running across a tile or wood floor to get to the shower, you might re-consider or plan to slither along on hands and knees.
Well, like I said, the main purpose of Jlube is to provide a slippery surface, not necessarily a simey 'volume' of material or gel. So, likely one bottle in a bathtub would be the slipperiest bath you've ever had, but the overall substance would be like very slightly thickened water. That is probably not what you want.
If you're really looking for 'slime' with all the thick, viscous, stringy volume that comes with it, you're better off going for substances along those lines... methyl cellulose, xanthan gum, nuru gel / nori seaweed, (others?), etc. If for some reason, those aren't slippery enough, then possibly a dose of jlube on top could add to the fun.
