I've never used Dream Topping in any messy sessions and I'm interested to know if it works. Does it make a good pie for my face? From pictures, it looks like it would make a thick pie that would lead to great coverage. Has anyone ever used it for a session? If so, what was the result?
I have used dream topping for pies and found it's about the best thing to use plus the added advantage of not having the smell of dairy that you can't get rid of. It sticks well rather than disappearing but just be patient when your mixing it - I just add a little water and it suddenly thickens but you can water it down to the consistency you want My profile pic is using a dream topping pie. Enjoy your pies!

Do you only make it with water and not milk then? I was put off using it when it says to use cold milk to make it
Have used - mixed with oat milk so still creamy but no post-dairy smell issues. Can be sloppy or firm depending on amount of liquid but also firms up if left for some time. Great results I find.

Yes I use water as similar reason as you didn't want to use milk. It mixes just as well but without that after smell that you can't get rid of. It smells more like ice cream when mixed with water and washes out of clothes absolutely fine.
Good tips everyone. Thanks for those. Maybe will give it a try in my next big session. I'd heard that it was the British equivalent of Cool Whip, which seems to be every American splosher's favourite pie ingredient. Since we can't get it over here, been looking out for something similar.
