I've always been into watching the fully-clothed business women in blazers, skirts and nylons slowly cover themselves with thick stringy lotion. It's not quite the same as just water, but it's totally clear and translucent. It looks so awesome, and I bet it feels amazing too if making it with white lotion is anything to go by.
But I'm not sure if it would be classed as wetlook (clear, wet and soaks clothes) or messy (technically a type of slippery viscous slime)? I kind of want to try it out on a lot of clothes.
What are everybody's thoughts? Is it wetlook or messy?
UMD's rules are ony actual water scenes (and perhaps a little soap or shampoo) count as wetlook and are allowed in posts to the wetlook forum, anything else like oil or transparent gunge, should go in the messy forum.
Personaly, and from a more general perspective, I've always thought that oil, or clear, thin, transpaerent lotions or gunges, could also be counted as wetlook, as they cause a "wet look". Oil can produce an even shinier sheen than water does on fabric like denim, glistening and flowing. There is a certain level of viscosity where it would stop being wetlook and become more gunge/messy though.
What I really liked, when I first tried oil and slime, is that it doesn't run off as quickly as water! It clings to you and it carries on clinging to you! It was fun to play with! Peter
That's really interesting. I wonder if that would put liquids like milk and water that is different colors from bath salts into wetlook then rather than messy?
