May I tell you of an experience I have recently had? I have basic to medium computer skills, certainly not advanced. I was messaging a friend, discussing wetlook, on Skype. I have helped to set up a residents association where I live, encouraging my neighbours to share with me their e-mail addresses, so I can distribute information without printing hundreds of sheets of paper. At the same time as I was messaging, I was working on a "Word" table of names, addresses, contact details, e-mail addresses, and other personal details which I would never, ever share with anyone. I clicked the "send" icon in Skype and ahead of my message appeared the whole table of personal details. I thought I was working in two separate windows. I panicked. Trying quickly to rectify the situation, I deleted the "Skype" conversation. Before realising that the messages are still visible to the recipient. There is a simple way of deleting sent messages in Skype completely, which I did not know of. My friend reassured me that he understood my mistake and that no one will ever know of it. I respect him for that. At the same time, I have learned the hard way to make sure you know how to operate the messaging platform you are on. I don't know how the details on one window "jumped" to the other, but I shall be a lot more careful in the future. Better just stick to UMD. Peter

Oh my goodness! When I send out "minutes" or updates, I am really careful to attach the correct document! Or they would find themselves reading one of my Wetlook stories about Katie! I'll leave it to others to judge which would be a better read!
I always send individual e-mails, so recipients do not see the other e-mail addresses in the group!
Peter instead of sending individual emails you could use a bcc for everyone and send the main email to yourself. Bcc means blind carbon copy. No one in the bcc list knows who else was included in the email. Even if they reply all it only goes to the people not in the bcc list.

Wow, Thanks, dalamar666! There's something else I don't know! IT is just so important, you must keep on learning.
I live in a retirement scheme, and many of our residents are not online. They are deprived of access to so much which is now essential.
It's a bit overkill- but consider getting a second "clean" device for all your residents association stuff. No chance of 'cross-contamination' and a lot less likely for your data to be compromised by malware/viruses etc since you clean device is only business use.
(I have a separate tablet for online banking etc, and a dedicated gaming rig with a strict "zero-porn" rule. My old lappy is for all the dodgy stuff).
