Hello. I am finding now that, over the years, my tastes have become so specific, so narrow, that the odds of me being satisfied with a video are approaching zero. Basically, unless it looks EXACTLY like this (courtesy of SSS - thank you, Rich) - i.e., entire face completely covered in pie except the eyes, with literally no skin visible whatsoever, including the lips, it does nothing for me. So whereas these images are a 10, anything less than this may as well be a 0. If the entire face is obliterated with the eyes obscured that's also no good at all for me. I wondered does anyone else feel the same? Or am I (relatively speaking) a lunatic? Purusing this er, "look", is costing me a lot of money - it's too hard to explain to models, it seems, and I fully understand their confusion, to be fair. Thanks for reading!

I took my favorite parts of existing scenes to do my customs, so it's kind of obsoleted some of my previously favorite material.

I also think with customs its more difficult to enjoy because you are sort of expecting to see what happens, so theres less of a surprise factor when I get my scene.

It's not quite as thrilling as the unexpected sudden discovery of something that exactly pushes the right buttons.

The (almost) infinite availability of content has only increased and focussed our own specific expectations and satisfaction has decreased exponentially in accordance.

From my own personal point of view I was relatively easily pleased for decades until I got involved in making my own films. Hands-on making things happen the way I want to see them; watching them back. Now, nothing less really cuts the mustard.

I so agree with that for some reason I like that.
With a pie when that happens its great like a perfect hit.

I do a lot of customs with the models adding mess or someone else applying the mess and I really like seeing the eyes looking out from the mess clearly to the camera.
Also I like full lips with lipstick as well showing no matter what the messy substance is.

No idea why but I dig it ! lol

Mounting the manticore is not something I do. Ever. Not that anyone asked, but there you go. It's a strange thing to not do, I guess, but one day I got it in my head to abstain, indefinitely. Just to see if I could. So I did! Still like looking at (some) WAM though.

I'm not a licensed doctor, but doesn't that increase your risk of prostate cancer? Might be helpful to fire off some knuckle children to keep your butthole healthy.

I never had an issue with needing increasingly specific tastes. I like a pretty wide variety. For me it was basically sensory overload. And I find that can happen from too much of anything. Eat nothing but hamburgers for a week and you're not going to want to see one again for a good while (most people anyways).

Every now and then the solution for me is to cut and run. Depression will usually build and I'll just peace out for awhile until I can find some joy in life again.

Also, I have found that being involved in this kink does so much more to rekindle my joy for it. But self messing doesn't really do much for me. Having a partner though...wooo weee.

Maybe taking a break is a good idea. Engage in some things in your life that bring you some joy or meaning and then come back to it. It may very well refresh you.

Yeah I noticed your videos. Very close, except I like the lips covered with pie as well, lol. What's that blue stuff? Buttercream?? I might try and reprise that. I think the look in the photo I posted was achieved using a marshmallow plus shaving cream pie. But I'm speculating. She wiped her eyes, but it all kind of stuck there anyway. Usually, as soon as the eyes are wiped, half of the pie comes off the face as well, and that ruins it for me

Does it? Oh well. I'm too far along the road now, so be it. Or not, ideally!

That was blue cake frosting that the producer (customfetishvideos) got from a bakery.
It stuck very well and held its shape without dripping or falling off.

As to the OP, I can understand his idiosyncrasy as I, myself am pretty fussy. If the first pie isn't a direct hit on the face, my heart just sinks and ruins the video for me. So if it hits one side of her face, or just the top half of her face, or just the nose and mouth area, it is a BIG letdown. And yes, her eyes have to be visible.

Now, that isn't QUITE as particular as what the OP said, but its close. I guess I don't need every single square inch covered and I could give or take seeing the lips.

My boyfriend and I were talking about this before. For him it used to be just pictures of pie in the face were good, however now he said it's almost gotta be a video. Not so much a certain kind of pie or coverage although it has changed. He likes bigger pies, more splat, better coverage. And as far as yours, here's a few from my vault!Atrice and Cora are good for the full coverage with the eyes showing no skin.

We've all got things that we like. For me the girl has to be attractive, with a good figure and pretty without any obvious tattoos. She has also to be smartly dressed and nicely made up, so you kind of think "she's lovely, surely she's not going clobbered with pies" then she does !

Clothes are another niche for me. I don't like tights, always either bare legs or stockings, also don't like big pants, has to be tiny g strings, also don't like flat shoes, got to be high heels.

I also don't like sports wear or swimsuits, they're supposed to get wet! Like smart formal outfits, or sexy role play ones like maids, nurses, schoolgirl uniforms and also pvc. I like it to look as if the girl has made a big effort to make herself look really good, then she gets wrecked!

I've reached the same point in my online WAM journey. Cake sitting is my thing but even then it has to be exactly the right kind of sit on the right kind of cake with the right kind of girl for me to get really excited about it.

Incidentally my personal WAM journey is similar in that my sessions just keep getting bigger and more grandiose than before (and therefore more expensive and less frequent). These days, I find myself gearing up to a room filled with various cakes to squish which is of course incredible, but might only happen once or twice a year.... and I do miss the glory days of a fortnightly or weekly WAM session. Small sessions may happen but gratify less now.

Seems my tastes/likes have broadened. i think that with so many people producing wam and striving to produce the best quality product (according to their tastes) ...that what happens is there emerges a plethora of high-quality wam in so many niches, that I can look at these and recognize what the producer is 'going for' (his/her aesthetic, within his/her preferred niche) and appreciate (often) the erotic quality of each.

One example is the maker of the Pie Zone videos...I never used to like shaving cream-based pies (always found SC to be a cheap excuse for a pie)...but he combines SC with pudding and pie crust and makes or some spectacular facial mess-ups/coverage (plus the chunky slime)...I can see the appeal in these vids*, and have saved some of the images (as seen in my 'favorite wam pics of 2020' post).

Now, I still greatly prefer real/edible pies (even if they are specially made for smooshing/throwing, like with Most wam's pies)...but I do not automatically exclude SC-based pies. I think this is because the pie in the face gag has always been, for me, partly about the 'chaos effect' of seeing a pretty face (the kind you might fall in love with) and seeing it suddenly become messed-up (in a dramatic, silly, unharmful way)...salurophilia or mania (as the case may be), I suppose.

I also have very specific things I'd like to see. I say 'I'd like to' because I don't know if I ever have, at least not the way I envision it to be.

So likewise, some clips come close, but most miss the mark. I wind up buying the close ones. I even had a custom done, and as well as she understood, she did a great job, yet it missed the mark for me.

I think the addition of so many recent styles of wam has made the haystack larger, so that needle will be even harder to find.
