@ Wamwright: Now don’t go accusing me of ‘culture! lol. I wish I could show you all how this would look if I were a slick digital artist rather than a wammer with crayons and Things To Say. I tried so hard for a joke that communicated my feelings about escapism and pain-relief and exposure and that magical, animal ‘something’ I call Wildtouch . Turns out none of that’s funny and my hand kept drawing this metaphor mash-up instead. I’m delighted that you like it.
@Mike: I like to sit in the corner and tell jokes from time to time. Doing it as a little ritual make me do it when other things might get in the way. It starts a different kind of chat than the blogs and sometimes puts me in touch with people who have an emotional attachment to their kinks as well as a sexual one. I ran out of funny this week, but I wanted to say this anyway and written language totally fails me. I’ve thought of a few more things that make me smile, so I’ll keep at it until a sabbatical is necessary to keep it fun-to-do. At the moment I’m having to be super-careful not to leave kinky little scribbles on the back of envelopes everywhere I go, lol. And my new definition of ‘friendship material’ is someone who doesn’t consider it problematically eccentric to post watercolours on a fetish porn forum.
