It looks like it could a fun one to play with- all the bright colours of gunge combined with the smooth slipperiness of clay.
Yes - I suspect it's just colouring mixed into the Bentonite clay, not including slime, as such. As you say - the benefits of each without the disadvantage of combining the two substances themselves.
We made the mistake of using both clay and gunge a few years ago at one of our events and found that, whilst either one works well and is easy to clean, the combination seemed to react and bind together somehow making it very tiresome to clean up all the equipment and to get it out of clothes.
I have some bentonite clay that needs something and before seeing this was thinking of adding some poster paint to it because on its own its just not got the coverage I'm looking for so I guess I already though of this
I think you definitely need to test it with a huge wallowing pit of bright colours and a willing volunteer. (*raises hand and makes oooh ooh pick me noises*)
I did give in shortly after posting an buy a load of it- the vivid colours and thick texture just looked too tempting to pass up. Sale price too. Today a rather large and heavy box arrived, hopefully I can test a pack out next week...

I've tried this before- used MS own liquid colouring to thick lumpy clay. Got a green streaky clay with gray patches from the lumps. Nice effect if you like it looking a little nasty (great as a role-play punishment slime) I guess using a powered mixer would give a pretty nice smooth colour- but nowhere near a vivid as the Clayzee stuff.
