Who said they don't want money?
I think you are reading my comments wrong. I feel this story is as real as the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus.
As painful as Robby's words can be most of the time (and of course I'm referring to his jokes), he's one of the very few people around here whose word I would actually believe if he writes something.
Amazing as it may seem, among the countless fakes who frequent this place, there are some legitimately legitimate people here.

Maybe you are just projecting.
After 24 years here with endless pictures, videos, etc of both myself and others WHY in the world of WAM would I be making stuff up when it's painfully (and messily) obvious I don't have to do that? Having also met a number of folks from the UMD including Messmaster himself, feel free to ask them if I would be making stories up.
I'll give Santa and the Easter Bunny your regards though.

I always wanted to be legitimately legitimate. Can I put that on a resume should I ever need one again?

Baffling.
I don't know man, but can I have some of what you're having? Most women look at me like I'm either a sexual predator, or the cursed union of a blobfish and a sasquatch.

Absolutely, positively true.
It's also about sometimes "reading the room" or in this case, reading the woman/man who you are conversing with. You need to have the smarts to get that "feel" of who you are talking to. And that mostly comes from experience. You NEVER EVER push.
The vast majority of time, they need to know you first before they agree to anything. There are RARE exceptions, but even Karen....we are now having dinner next Saturday. We'll learn a bit about each other which is every bit as important to me as "will she be interested in actually playing."
There is also a difference (to me anyway) between a woman who says "sure, I'll give it a shot" and a woman who really thinks she will enjoy it and more importantly UNDERSTANDS it.
