From my early pre-adolescent years, I remember a Little Rascals short on Saturday morning TV - I think it was Shivering Shakespeare but it's not in the I have - in which the young woman selling pies at the back of the auditorium gets a nice, bit hit in the face. She then picks up her necklace, which leaves a clear outline on her dress. I don't know why, but it stuck with me.
For second, I gotta go with the big earings, dripping pie goo.

Hoop earrings are my second favorite, and this is a great point about glasses (my actual favorite). If the glasses (or my least favorite - sunglasses) are used as de facto goggles then it ruins it completely for me. I hate cheap moves like that. Like when a woman tv celeb who's known for being in business dress shows up one day wearing a backward baseball hat on Nickelodeon appreciation day. C'mon.
As long as the accessory isn't used as a shield, I'm good with it. What I love about glasses in a messy scene (especially slime) is when they stay on and the slime covers her face behind the glasses. Something hot as hell about her leaving the glasses on anyway. It just works for me.
Lindsay in the first shoot she did with Rich comes to mind. Probably my favorite of her slimings, too. And on a similar note, the green slime/Chinese dress video we released pics of way back in the day.
Another vote for glasses. The awesome clear space behind when removed after a pie. The way clear slime will coat them. The clean glasses placed over a messy face.

Not sure why I've never given more attention to bows and ribbons. Totally hot.
