Yep, only in the past year really. I've discussed this with a few folks, can't decide if it's the regular WAM audience getting more "hardcore" in their tastes, or a more generic porn element latching onto WAM as a "weird side niche."

It also might be a way for producers to differentiate from the (literally) tens of thousands of WAM clips already on YouTube... ranging from amateur to mainstream to years of producer content (both authorized and not). I've had several former customers tell me there's no need to pay for clothed WAM anymore when there's weeks' worth of free content already available.

Except that free content sucks compared to a well produced scene. I don't buy a ton of scenes and in the ones I do have, there's a small fraction that I always go back to. Like 30% or so. I look for stuff on YouTube, but I've found that the odds of me finding something on there I really like are really slim. I'd rather pay.

Likewise! I've always felt if I tried to go into the nude market, a) there's be a million competitors, b) I'd have to pay the girls a lot more (and while some of my crew might consider doing nude, most wouldn't) and c) I'd hate doing it and get nothing out of it, so where would be the point?

First rule of WAM production - shoot what you personally like. I think most of us who are long-time producers are sticking to that.


This. That is true. What different people find pretty varies, and for me, it doesn't matter how pretty the model is, if she's wearing something I hate (or nude), then no interest and no sale. To me an "ordinary" girl in the right outfit, enjoying getting messy, is worth more than an entire trainload of naked supermodels, even if they are all in individual baths of custard being filmed in 8k.


This! ^^^ Hell, half the produced stuff fails dismally for me due to incompetent camera work (even the mighty Allwam sometimes fail here), the vast majority of what's out there for free is unwatchably bad. Like most things in life, if you want quality material that actually hits the spot, you need to pay for it.

For me, beautiful model, clothed, preferably including boots over trousers and gloves, LOTS of real food substances (sweet preferably) and the model enjoying what she is doing. I also love self wam if there is 1 model.

That's what's always annoyed me about "non-wammer" wam, especially the porn people who are trying to latch on to us.

Before the internet and proliferation of wam, most of what we had to use was porn mags. They would take a topless or naked woman, put some whipped cream or custard on her breasts and call it "messy". Occasionally there would be some mess on their pussy, but usually that was about it. Very little on the ladies' faces or hair. And that doesn't seem to have changed much. That's why I love it here. There's something for everyone, but the main theme is getting very messy or wet! (Usually) Not just a dab on their tits!

I'll admit that I'm very eclectic in my tastes as far as women's looks. I don't even care that much about "traditionally" beautiful women. I don't know if they usually look like they take themselves too seriously, or what, but I go for "cute" every time. And while some ladies are obviously super-cute and *everyone* seems to think they're cute, a saucy grin, a particular hairstyle, particular clothes, and many other things make a lady "cute" to me. So a lot of ladies that are termed "beautiful", I've found something about them that I think is cute, and that's what turns me on.

I don't enjoy seeing a lady wammed that I don't find attractive, but I find a wide mix of ladies attractive. Now, other things go into the ladies becoming one of my "favorites", including hairstyle, clothing, wamming interests, personality, sense of humor, as well as the other items in Nick's poll.

So as several others have said or implied, it's not just the "traditionally beautiful" ladies who get my interest, and in some cases I'm definitely in the minority! (I LOVED Shelly, Rich! )

As some of you are aware, I really don't care for piercings or large tattoos. No judgement on the ladies, I just don't care for them. So there have been some really cute ladies getting messy, but they're covered in tattoos or piercings, and I just can't look. Sorry, that's just me. I'm sure a lot of people on here like them.

I enjoy nudity or topless mess, but I love to see clothes get messy or wet. Then if they take them off, that's fine. But I'm basically in the "clothed wam" camp!

But the problem with sites like youtube is there is a ton of stolen content from good producers posted for free. I've gotten so sick of sending take down notices to youtube that I purposefully make my videos not youtube friendly. For whatever reason wam is my most pirated content so I feel like making stickily non-nude wam videos is just a waste of time because it will instantly show up online for free.

Of course I want my model to be attractive to my personal standards... but for me the absolute most important part of a scene is seeing a model who is into it. I mean, even if it's torture or savory I want it to be something that the model actually gets a kick out of. Nothing puts me off more than seeing someone faking it when a pie is shoved into their pants. Even if their looks are so-so to sub-par all is forgiven to see someone who is actively enjoying themselves.

For me, the most important factor is a hot model. Without that, it's a no-go.

So, what defines a hot model? Well, as mentioned previously, everyone has their own preferences, but that doesn't mean you're flying blind. There is a cultural definition of attract for both men and women. Think less of trying to find the "perfect" model and more like just playing the odds.

I really don't care about the model's personality for a vid I purchase. A vid I make is a different story, but that's because if I just purchase the vid, I don't have to worry if the talent is a fuckwit. I can just mute the video and move on.

Production value....well...that's a bit of a stick situation. There are certain things I really wan to see, but never do, like the bucket and arms being hidden. In my vid, that is my main priority. How did they get slimed? Movie magic.

For substances, I'm just a simple pie/slime kinda guy. Just through some pies in the talent's face and dump some slime on them, and I'm good. As long as the pies and slime is good, shut up and take my money.

The scenario can be really hot. But, it's a force multiplier. If there's a catastrophic failure with another aspect, like an unattractive model or poor quality substances, then the scenario can't help it. But if the stars align, a good scenario can turn a good scene into a great one. I'm partial to failure and/or bad luck. Walking in to a piefight and getting clobbered? That's really hot! Failed some kind of challenge, and now you have to pay the pi(p)er? That's hot too! Just running your mouth and you accidentally say the key words? That's hot, also.

I don't often post but thought i'd chime in because my views are probably different than most...and wanted to have these alternate points of view represented!

All of these elements together comprise a "most important" to me:

For some reason, even though i find wet/messy to be sexy, i don't like a slapstick scene to be "sexual" (ie body fluids, sex act, full nudity - though no objection at all to shirtless/swimsuit) - i like my mess to be "clean". PG-rated, something that can be shown on regular tv or youtube with no age restrictions. I like it having a more innocent tone as opposed to feeling like i'm watching something "produced for the wam porn industry". That's not to say i don't want the guys to be/look sexy - heck i'm all for a well-built hunk in a tank top or shirtless totally getting it good...but i don't want the set-up/secene to be of a sexual nature.

I usually like there being some kind of set-up or gag. This isn't a given as i love seeing straight montages of people being pied, slimed, or splashed but if there's a gag or set-up line, that's preferable. There should be a sense of the model not having wanted to have gotten wet/messy - there's heaps of wetlook photos out there where the model is trying to look sexy or staring at the camera with a come-hither look. But what will win me over are ones where the model comes across more as "why did you throw that huge bucket of water at me?"

Absolute "Don't"'s: if i don't get to see a face and if the face doesn't get wet/messy, it's not worth my time at all. I also strongly prefer that the hair and upper body gets wet/pied as well and not just the skin of the face and nowhere else. (Especially with water, if the hair stays dry, that's hair-pulling-level frustration to me.) There has to be a "before" and an "after". I want to see what a guy looked like before they got wet or hit with a pie and i want a good clear look at the results...never ever EVER leave a pie plate stuck to a face without taking it away to show what the pied face actually looks like!

I have no objection to co-ed scenes just so long as the guy gets it good. That's all i ask. I could care less about how it happens or who/what gender it's administered by but the guy needs to totally get his.

I don't like anything that mars or covers the face or gets in the way. Glasses, sunglasses are out, hats most of the time i don't like - clown makeup also seems too much like a "mask" distracting from seeing a real face get covered.

A good looking model is important (a large part of the thrill of wet/messy to me is the satisfaction of having someone good-looking getting those good looks messed up)... but so is picture clarity. I'd rather see an excellent picture of an average looking guy soaked, slimed and/or pied with a good close-up view than a lesser quality view of a jaw-droppingly hot guy. If the pie just looks like a white blob, to me that's no more exciting than just seeing someone holding a piece of white paper over someone's face or scribbling on the picture with white-out. I wanna see details. For this reason, most big pie fight scenes with larger crowds bore me because the camera's too far away and doesn't get good shots of individual people.


To me nothing beats seeing a clean/dry guy get wet/messy. You can only hit someone with so many pies before the thrill wears off. If someone's going to take a large amount of pies in a scene, give them the chance throughout to wipe stuff off of them -or even better clean them off with water!- before subjecting them to more. I tend to like seeing several different people fall victim - to me a dream purchase is a slew or shorter scenes or a montage of many different guys taking a pie or getting soaked as opposed to a long scene of one or two guys going on forever.

When i tried to produce videos or photos of my own, all of these elements were priorities to me that i always strived to include...my goal was not just to fill the void of male wam material but also to shoot the stuff i'd want to view. But with my lack of finances being a constant issue, it just wasn't in the cards for me to be a wam producer.
